The family are having a picnic. They had been planning a day out in the open air for a long time but they waited for the weather to improve. They packed everything early in the morning and set off as soon as the children were up. They will spend the whole day in the country and by the time they go back home, they will have had such an excellent time that they will be planning their next excursion.
