Emma and Katy were bored. They tried watching TV, but there weren't any interesting programmes. They tried playing volleyball, but it was too hot. They even tried reading Emma's old 'Superfish' comics, but she had read them all before.
An amazing adventure.
Last Saturday, Holly and Michael visited their cousin June. June is a scientist who studies space. When they arrived, June said,
'Let's have an adventure. Where shall we go?'
The beach!' said Michael.
'How about a museum?' said Holly.
They were surprised when June said, 'Those places are boring. Let's go to the moon!'
June showed them her space rocket.
'I built this last year,' she said.
Holly and Michael felt excited, but a bit worried about travelling to the moon in it. 'Don't worry!' said June. 'It's very safe.'
They put on special clothes and helmets and they got into the rocket. June pushed 'Start' and they quickly flew off.
